Today I booted from sleep and I saw the BSOD screen but with no text on my primary monitor. It seems I still have an issue with booting out of sleep, it seemingly gives me a blue screen although I can't confirm this is always the case as I usually get not monitor input out of sleep forcing me to restart but 9/10 a single restart gets me into windows where this wasn't the case with teh 1607 build sometimes requiring 10 restarts before I would boot into windows.

As soon as I installed the latest iso file off the USB drive vs the windows update assistant, it worked straight away and I got all the updates working. I think part of the issue was that I was using an old windows 10 usb stick with 1607 on it and for some reason it broke a bunch of other things. so after 7 hours of trying to use the windows update manager, checking the drive too many times along with a bunch of other commands it turns out that I just needed to put the latest ISO on to a usb stick and just do a clean reinstall. This video should help, this guy knows a ton of stuff.Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment and help me out.
